Having a HORRIBLE Hair Day?

0_o Yea... nobody's perfect. Hurricane Sandy distressed my hair as well. LOL! Ladies...you don't wanna go visit your guy looking like this do you?

Any who...you know those days when it's cold and wet outside and your hair just won't cooperate? Well, fear not! Fishtails to the rescue! =] ... *tape rewind noise* Hold up... did she just say fishtail?!?

Yea... I did. But this one looks way better. LOL I won't say it's a new trend because it's been around for a while. 

It's a lot simpler than it looks. Here, I'll show you.

STEP 1

First we separate our hair into two sections. 1 and 2 for easy reference. (Make sure it's combed out and moisturized.)

STEP 2

We then take a small locket of hair from the back of section 1 and add it to section 2. (Or vice versa, doesn't matter. I took a big chunk because I was in a rush but the smaller the piece the better it looks.)

STEP 3

Now we do the reverse of step 2. Take a piece from the back of section 2 and add it to the other.

Keep repeating these steps until you come to the end of your braid.

Fasten the end with a rubber band or something so the braid won't become undone.

Add a lil mascara some lip gloss and Voila! Now you have a chic look even on your worst day! 

It doesn't have to be neat either. You can mess it up for a casual night out with your friends or a formal event.

How cute is that! Plus I'm sure your guy will appreciate your effort and thank you in many ways... ;-) Trust me they notice more than we give them credit for. lol Enjoy!

Today's model, 7 year old Jinai dressed herself. Yes being fashionable runs in the family!!! For an outing to the mall, Jinai chose to take a risk in mixing prints by wearing an Aztec spaghetti strapped top, paired with horizontally striped green and white leggings. Her choice of shoes were her favorite gold payless strappy sandals and to accessorize she wore a pink fringed side bag, with a silver hello kitty chain and matching earrings.

OUTFIT OF THE DAY!

Hey guuuyyysss I missed y'all!

I was under the weather all week but today I'm coming out!

I wanted a slouched relaxed, but chic look, so I did my light blue boyfriend denim with a simple white cami and pointy toe flats, *roll eyes* nothing about it was chic lol, made me feel like I was still sick, so i  rolled up the leg of my denim, put my beige leather aldo wedge on and threw on my favorite printed jacket;this print reminds me of something from that movie 'Coming to America' lol,i also added my gold Michael Kors watch, gold chunk link necklace, cream black and gold studded aldo earrings, Cole Haan squared framed sunglasses and my cream Guess handbag. They are all different colours but they blend beautifully as you could see and I'm pleased with my outfit of the day (OOTD). Off to do errands girls smooches!

So, this year there has been a lot of playful prints with the most popular being Aztec. I'm sure you've seen it every where whether on denim pockets or as leggings patterns. A lot of backpacks have this print and backpacks are also BACK in style. (Not the one you carried your primary and high school books in eh! Suh doh bodder to dust it out)LOL

Totes were never out dated to me. The best part about it is...it doesn't even have match! BUT keep it coordinated with your outfit! Studded, quilted, printed or plain, I love them all. Which is your fave?

You can use them when dressing up or dressing down. It can be big or small but whatever it is, make sure it's cute!

Going out for an evening dinner or night out? Take a clutch along to finish your look. It's not too big to take away from your outfit or make people say, "OH GADOOO! Ah whe she ah guh wid dat?!" LOL But it's also not too small so it can hold your phone and other minor necessities.
