TREND IN ACCESSORIES

Picture this. You're all decked off, headed to THE HOTTEST PARTY OF THE YEAR with your blue bell bottom jeans, your favorite pink rhinestone front t-shirt, pink shoes to match with pink accessories. 

You burst through the doors and people start to stare at you. At first, it doesn't bother you because you know! You've dressed to impress with the best! However, you notice a few whispers and maybe chuckles here and there. Then you realize, people are laughing AT you. Embarrassed much? This post is for you.

For the next few days, I'd like to share what's trending for 2012-2013 with you. We'll go through each trend by categories because there's a lot for us to discuss. May I proceed? Lol

By now you've probably guessed today's  accessory... Lol. That's right, Jewelry! It can make or break an outfit.

So far I've seen a lot of skulls, bones, claws, dragons and crosses in... just about everything. Lol. They look cute and all, but...I'm not a fan.

The pieces that are more appealing to me are ...

Chunky Jewelry

I love the way a chunky piece of jewelry looks on a simple outfit. It can transform it into funky phresh! Or sexy sophisticated.;-)Just remember, crazy on crazy won't work. Meaning, if your outfit has a lot going on, you probably won't need any jewelry. Don't add insult to injury. Just keep the accessories simple if you must.

Animate and Inanimate Objects LOL 

This covers everything from Anchors to Owls and everything in between. Lol Peter pan necklaces look fab-tastic with a plain sweater or collarless top. You can even try it with a simple vest and blazer for a cute finish. 

Spikes and Leather

These accessories add a bit of "bad ass" to an outfit. Especially for those days when you just don't give a fork! LOL! 

Simple glitter Pieces or Word Jewelry

Anything with meaning...whether it be good or bad Lol!

Watches and Shamballa Bracelets

I like these braclets because it's unisex. So go ahead and pick one up for that special guy in your life. (Not the glitter ones or you'll have problems!)Lol

ARM CANDY

 Last but not least, Arm Candy. Arm Candy is actually taking everything I spoke about and compiling them into one big, beautiful creation. =]
